Serious about wanting to make money? How about if you never sell a product or service off your site and could still make money? Operating your own on-line newsletter or ezine publication is your best way to stay in touch with your visitors. 

Depending on your market and the amount of quality content you can provide you can publish daily, weekly or monthly newsletters and every time you do it is an invitation for people to come back to your site. If you want people to stay subscribed however you need to offer something of quality. Blatant sales pitches will simply turn people off.

Make sure you have a subscription page on your website that is easy to find. The important thing is to also have a copy of the form on your index page. Getting that one little e-mail address is vital because it is a chance for you to get in touch with your visitors. When encouraging people to sign up be sure to use the word "because". It is psychological, people need to be encouraged that they will benefit.

Make sure you use some of the sites in the resource center to collect free articles you can offer in your newsletter. You don't want to just pitch your products (although that is the real goal). Once you get your subscription over a 1000 people or so you can actually start selling advertising in your ezine. You'll find details in the Ezine Resource Center but focus on getting the traffic to your site so you can get those first 1000 subscribers.
